The two bedrooms were separate, and the building had a traditional feel, which was great.

The 2-bedroom apartment at La Suite Du Bucheron was a cozy and comfortable retreat. It felt like a home away from home, with a living room that had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring nature.
Although the apartment had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, I personally didn't find much use for it. I preferred immersing myself in nature and disconnecting from technology.

The location was excellent, and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The double bed in the main bedroom was especially cozy. Our dog had plenty of space to exercise outside, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The farmhouse had a unique and bohemian atmosphere, with a mix of brocante. The friendly host had lit the wood stove for us, creating a cozy night in front of the fire. The property was surrounded by pine forest and had a quiet and olde world feel. It was a surprising and memorable stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The rural setting of this charming, rustic house, complete with all mod-cons like air-con, heating, WiFi and Netflix. The proximity to the motorway was not bothersome at all, and the walks through the forest were super. The spaciousness of the property, with its two bedrooms and large living room, made it EXCELLENT value for larger groups. The hosts were welcoming and even provided a log burner and electric heaters for the cold November evening. The location was perfect for our overnight stop, with very clean and comfortable accommodation, and plenty of space for our dog to exercise outside. The hosts were also fantastic, making us feel warmly welcomed and ensuring we had a great evening together. The apartment itself was simply and lovingly furnished, making it a jaw-dropping dream come true.

Just had the best New Year's getaway! the property was super spacious, with two separate bedrooms and a large living room. It was the perfect size for my group of friends. the location was also amazing, just a minute off the motorway and surrounded by woods. It was great for our dogs as well. We loved that there was a supermarket nearby, so we could easily cook our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. the host was incredibly welcoming and had the log burner going before we arrived. It made for such a cozy evening, especially with the additional electric heaters in the bedrooms. Such a great value for larger groups!
Okay, so I have to admit, this place might not be everyone's cup of tea. It definitely had an old and tatty decor, which some might find charming, but others might not appreciate.

Charming Rustic Setting: Nestled in the heart of Aquitaine, this hidden gem offers a cozy haven with a delightful garden and barbecue facilities. It feels like being in a fairy tale cottage, away from the bustling city life.
No Twin Beds: It would have been nice to have twin beds in the second guest room instead of bunk beds. However, the comfortable mattresses made up for it, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone.

As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I absolutely loved the remote location of this accommodation. Surrounded by woods and with extensive land, it was perfect for me and my dog to explore and roam around. The farmhouse itself had a unique and bohemian atmosphere, with a mix of vintage furniture that added to the charm. The cleanliness was exceptional and everything in the farmhouse functioned perfectly. The wood stove provided a cozy and warm ambiance, making for a memorable and comfortable night.
Felt great, no complaints whatsoever.

For the value we paid, we got more than we expected. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished, making it a dream come true. The location was perfect, close to the motorway but still peaceful and quiet. The hosts, David and his family, were absolutely wonderful, making us feel welcomed and at home.
Menu for breakfast could be improved with fresher ingredients and more variety.

We had the most surprising, one-night ‘travel-through’ stay at this charming and unique farmhouse in the middle of the woods. The mix of brocante furniture created a bohemian atmosphere, but the place was still very clean and everything worked perfectly. The host greeted us warmly, already having the wood stove lit for us. The rural setting was lovely, with nice walks through the forest and plenty of animals on site. The house itself was spacious and equipped with all modern amenities, making our stay comfortable and memorable.
We do recommend this hotel.

We stayed at La Suite Du Bucheron for one night on our way to Spain. The property was very spacious and perfect for our family of five. The separate bedrooms and large living room provided ample space for everyone. The location, just off the motorway and in the middle of woods, was ideal for our dogs. The host, David, was welcoming and had the log burner going when we arrived. The house had all the modern amenities we needed, including air-con, heating, and WiFi. We loved the rural setting and the opportunity to go on nice walks through the forest.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
